Shulamit Reif contributed to the making of this important book. The Cairo Genizah (Genizah is Hebrew for hiding place, which refers to ancient Jewish religious texts and documents stored for thousands of years in secret compartments in the Ben Ezra Synagogue in downtown Cairo, Egypt) treasure trove has been digitally documented at Cambridge University in England. This book edited by Professor Reif is an English translation and explanation of the many meanings of and conjectures about these various newly discovered religious documents. Many of these ancient texts and documents were used by and important to Jewish and early Christian people.
